On most vehicles, hoods are made from steel and are generally heavier the bigger the vehicle is. This can sometimes cause problems and make it difficult when opening and closing the hood in an emergency, particularly for people who do not often work with cars. When opening and closing the hood, most people want it to be as light, quick and easy as possible. This is why TEIN have come up with the hood damper to make this an easy and hassle free process.
The TEIN hood damper has been designed to eliminate the factory hood stand. It is much more compact and very lightweight which makes opening and closing the hood very quick and hassle-free. The TEIN hood damper also removes any obstructions allowing for more workspace under the hood and is particularly useful on vehicles that have larger hoods or for windy conditions as it provides greater stability.
The TEIN hood damper has gone through a strict quality control process and has been tested under extreme conditions inside the engine bay. Every part of the surface has been treated to withstand corrosion for up to five years of use. The installation process is also quick and easy without requiring any modification to the vehicle.
NOTES
For some vehicle models, the resin cover may need to be cut or removed.
Although the TEIN hood damper has been fully tested for interference with the vehicle body, it may interfere due to individual differences.
Please carefully check for any interference upon installation, and make sure there is no interference prior to use.
Returns; Defective and Damaged Merchandise
Defective and freight damaged merchandise (but only where RX7DRIVER.COM is providing shipment) may be returned to RX7DRIVER.COM for full credit, but only upon verification by RX7DRIVER.COM of such defect or damage. A Returned Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") form must be filled out by the Buyer and Approved by RX7DRIVER.COM. Credit will be issued to Buyer upon receipt of the RMA form and the claim approval from the freight company.
Returns; Exchanges; Good Merchandise
Returns of good merchandise may be accepted by RX7DRIVER.COM in its sole discretion under the following conditions:
Return/Exchange of merchandise in totally re-saleable condition, without markings on the original packaging will be restricted to extraordinary circumstances with prior approval from RX7DRIVER.COM. Accepted return will be assessed a 25% restocking charge. Returned part number shall not exceed 15% of total annual purchase quantities.
Return/Exchange of merchandise in packaging that has been marked, relabeled or otherwise defaced will be restricted to extraordinary circumstances with prior approval from your RX7DRIVER.COM. Accepted return will be assessed a 30% restocking charge, except that RX7DRIVER.COM merchandise returned in packaging that has been marked, relabeled or otherwise defaced will be subject to a 40% restocking charge. Returned part number shall not exceed 15% of total annual purchase quantities.
Merchandise classified by RX7DRIVER.COM as TB (To Be Discontinued), or DC (Discontinued), may not be returned for credit.
Merchandise on sales promotion or inventory packages may not be returned for credit.
Buyer must pay all return transportation charges.
Buyer must obtain and complete an RMA form, issued by RX7DRIVER.COM, for any good merchandise return or exchanges.
Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted under any circumstances after 15 calendar days after the ship date indicated by RX7DRIVER.COM.
Any returns for non-fitment or quality issues will require high quality digital pictures of the products to be emailed to the account manager before an RMA is approved.
Order cancellations will take up to 48 hours after a cancellation is requested before the order is officially cancelled and money processed for return.
